I’m a high school student who’s played piano for ten years. Not to be a conceited brat, but I reckon of myself as one of the more skilled piano players. For the California CM test, I’ve passed Level 10 Honors (the peak level) twice.
And since summer’s appearance up, I was thinking of giving piano lessons to young kids.
How much do you reckon I should charge an hour? A half-hour?
Please answer my inquiry with some thought place into it!

I’ve been taking piano lessons for the last six years, and can sight read, read notes, play well, etc. Im 13 and have been thinking about stopping taking lessons. Piano isnt something i want to pursue as a career, but rather as enjoyment. I still want to play it casually at home or for others, but I reckon 6 years is enough, thoughts?

I’m trying to find out what the average rate for private piano lessons is for a beginner student. It would be helpful to know what disorder or general area you live in so I have a evaluation of different geographical areas. Also- what’s the rate for having private piano lessons in your own home (the teacher visits your house)? Thanks!

I just bought myself an electronic keyboard and i’m plotting to learn it online. I googled for lessons and most of the links are for piano lessons. So is it okay if i learn to play the electronic keyboard with online piano lessons? (for eg. http://www.zebrakeys.com/lessons/) Or do electronic keyboards have their own specific lessons and are different from piano lessons?
i would appreciate it if i can get links for some of the best electronic keyboard lessons online also!

I’ve been taking piano lessons for 1.5 years, and I have friends who have been taking lessons for 9 years. I am nearly done with beginners, and I am playing songs like "Braveheart" by James Horner. I want to start the violin someday, but I want to be fully advanced in piano initially.

My daughter just celebrated her 4th birthday. She has shown an apttitude for music and an interest in playing instruments, especially the piano. My wife took dance lessons as a child and I have sung with various musical groups all my life, but neither of us plays an instrument. When should we look to enroll her in piano lessons?

I really want to learn. I’m into music and learning new things and since I’m into music and learning I chose I want to play piano or either guitar but piano is better (in my opion)
So Yeah, how much would they cost for private lessons???
I don’t have a piano so… I can’t take online lessons but I’d get one later on.

I’ve by no means had lessons, but I can play beacause I can read music, so I incorporated that into the piano. But, my skills are limited. To be really excellent, do I need lessons or could I just use piano books that lecture you.

im seventeen and really want to learn to play piano. i want to take classes (NOT one on one) at a studio or anywhere.dosent matter..does anyone have any suggestions…i live in the bronx ..HELP PLEASE!!!!!!
nooo online courses please…i want to really go to a place where there is more than one self!!!!
